Microsoft Merilis Office Professional 2010 Academic Edition

Microsoft telah mengkonfirmasi adanya eksistensi Office Professional Academic 2010 edition, yang pernah diumumkan di bulan lalu. Selain itu, Microsoft juga mengkonfirmasi bahwa produk Office Home and Student akan hadir dalam versi Family Pack yang dapat digunakan untuk 3 PC sekaligus. Sedangkan untuk pembelian Office Home and Business, Office Professional, dan Office Professional Academic dapat digunakan untuk 2 PC, sementara Product Key Card di dalamnya hanya valid untuk sekali instalasi software tersebut.

• SKU : Home and Business : Word, PowerPoint, Excel, dan OneNote, plus Outlook, harga box $279 harga key card $199
• SKU : Standard : Word, PowerPoint, Excel, dan OneNote, plus Outlook, plus Publisher, harga box dan product key card memakai lisensi volume
• SKU : Professional Word, PowerPoint, Excel, dan OneNote, plus Outlook, plus Access ,harga box $499 harga key card $349
• SKU : Professional Academic : Word, PowerPoint, Excel, dan OneNote, plus Outlook, plus Access harga box $99 harga key card tidak diketahui

Product Key Card merupakan kartu lisensi yang ada di paket box Office 2010 dengan kunci yang memudahkan user untuk mengaktifkan atau unlock Office 2010. Microsoft tidak membuat product key di Office 2010 tersebut dalam bentuk DVD, sehingga tampak environment friendly, dan berukuran kecil daripada di paket dalam DVD. Sebagaimana dikutip dari beritanet, menurut Microsoft, Office 2010 yang sudah dirilis dalam versi beta November lalu, telah di-download lebih dari 2 juta orang di seluruh dunia.
